Individual / Family Counseling
Families and carers of individuals on the Autism Spectrum are an important part of planning and supporting the individual at all levels. Therefore it is very important to support them over the years.

- Assessing the needs of the family: personal, social and emotional support
- Acceptance and management of the diagnosis
- Education and information for families / carers
- Emotional management of the caregiver role
- Practical help
- A long-term care plan of the autistic individual
- Understanding the importance of therapeutic interventions
- Stress control and management
- Dealing with the current symptoms, such as anxiety and emotional upset
Psychiatric Support
Psychiatric support and treatment is provided if deemed necessary in the context of Individual Counseling or at the request of the individual, taking into account the general context of each individual.
Counseling Groups
Counseling Groups are primarily aimed at parents but also caregivers of people on the Autism Spectrum and provide them with a safe and easy to understand framework where they can share experiences, get information and advice, unwind and get in touch with people with similar experiences. Through counseling groups they can learn from each other but also support each other under the guidance of a therapist. The topics and goals of the group will be determined jointly with the parents and the therapist.
The frequency of each group’s appointments is determined jointly by the members and the therapists.
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Participants: 7-8 people.
