Family Counseling
Families and caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum play an essential role in providing daily support and in planning the individual’s overall life. For this reason, their own support, empowerment, and stress relief are just as important over time.
Through Family Counseling, our goal is to provide a stable framework of support, understanding, and guidance, tailored to the needs of each family and each caregiver.
At the same time, coaching is offered to parents to help them provide more targeted support in their daily roles. Through this process, parents are empowered to identify priorities, organize their daily lives more effectively, manage challenges, and implement practical strategies that meet the needs of both the individual and the family.
Counseling may include:
- assessing the family’s needs and providing personal, social, and emotional support
- coping with and accepting the diagnosis
- education and information for families and caregivers
- enhancing emotional management in the role of a caregiver
- practical guidance on everyday issues
- long-term planning for the care and support of individuals with autism
- understanding the importance of therapeutic interventions
- managing stress and emotional strain
- support in coping with current challenges, such as stress and emotional turmoil
