Eleftheria Chalkia is a graduate of the Department of Social Work at the School of Health and Welfare Professions of the Athens Technological Educational Institute (A.T.E.I. of Athens). She has attended specialized seminars in special education, with a particular focus on the role of the Social Worker in education and in Supported Living Services, and has also received training in intervention models, especially crisis management.
She completed her internship at the social service department of the “Lilian Voudouri Workshop,” a center for individuals with intellectual disabilities, where she later continued to offer her support as a volunteer. Since 2010, she has been working with adults on the Autism Spectrum through both individual and group programs aimed at strengthening their participation in a broader social context.
